Morning Pointe walk

HIXSON, Tennessee (WDEF)- Morning Pointe in Hixson had a fundraiser walk for scholarships for nursing students over the weekend.

People were able to come out and walk the Morning Pointe in Hixson grounds and enjoy time with friends and family and don’t forget dogs. As there was also a puppy adoption event going on at the same time.

Life enrichment Director Lauren Luckhart said this the past two years have been tough but this brought a smile to everyone’s face.

“Especially because the last two years have been really tough, not only for all of healthcare but being in the senior care industry, the Covid pandemic has been really hard. We’ve had to shut down to a lot of volunteers, to the public so this is really one of the first events that we’ve been able to invite the community out and be a part of and it’s been so much fun to just see people here again,” said Luckhart.
