Multiple injuries, one arrested after crash in Fort Oglethorpe

FORT OGLETHORPE, Ga. (WDEF) — Multiple people have been taken to area hospitals after a multiple vehicle crash and one person is in police custody.

It happened on Cedar Lane in Fort Oglethorpe around 7:30 p.m.

Police say a person driving a black Mazda was fleeing from the scene of a vehicle accident that just happened.

The driver came over a hill speeding then ran into four vehicles that were stopped at a stop light at the intersection with Cloud Springs Road.

The driver was arrested.
