Murder victim’s family recognizes one-year anniversary of death

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – Saturday February 20th marks one year since Reginald Ballard was found shot to death at the Cascades motel in East Ridge.
Officials say he was shot twice.
Three people are charged in his death.
Khyree Donte Thompson, Tabitha Garrison and Verronta Page were all charged with first degree murder.
But one year later Ballard’s family is still seeking justice.
Ballard’s mother Denise said, “I prefer the chair, but I already know what they’re offering them, which is 100 years to life. No parole. So I really wish Chattanooga has the electric chair, because my point? I want them dead.”
Cousin Brionna Solomon added,”I know it’s been a year, but our family is getting justice and there’s a lot of families out here that’s not getting any justice.”
Garrison, Page and Thompson are scheduled to appear next in court on March 23rd.
