Nashville vehicular homicide suspect captured

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WDEF) — The suspect in a vehicular homicide investigation has been apprehended.

Metro Nashville Police Department posted on social media that Ulises Martinez was apprehended at the Somatel Motel on Metroplex Dr. near interstate 24.

Martinez was wanted on charges of auto theft and vehicular homicide in Nashville for the death of the Smokin’ Thighs Restaurant owner.

Hamilton County Sheriffs Office were on the scene of a man hunt involving Martinez in the area of East Ridge July 17 and July 18.

The search was called off after the investigation determined he had fled Hamilton County.
