National Guard medic treats Memphis shooting victim

MEMPHIS, Tennessee (WDEF) – The Tennessee National Guard is posting about how one of their medics may have saved a life in Memphis.

The 194th Engineer Brigade is on patrol in Memphis.

They say that they were called to assist Police in a shooting at an apartment complex.

A medic assigned to the 251st, Army Staff Sgt. Dragan Ramsey, was led to the shooting victim.

He began medical care until EMS arrived to take over.

The Guard is conducting safety patrols near Raines Precinct as part of the Memphis Safe Task Force.
