NBA DFS: Cheick Diallo and best picks for March 2 FanDuel, DraftKings daily fantasy basketball lineups

It’s a busy Saturday in NBA DFS action with millions on the line in NBA DFS tournaments and cash games, including a $300,000 NBA Shot on FanDuel and a $400,000 Saturday Special on DraftKings. However, players everywhere will have to navigate a tricky NBA injury report on Saturday, with Paul George (shoulder), Joel Embiid (knee) and Lonzo Ball (ankle) all expected out. Who will those injuries create opportunities for, and are those players getting prices you can take advantage of in your NBA DFS lineups on sites like FanDuel and DraftKings? To find out, be sure to check out the NBA DFS picks and advice from DFS millionaire Mike McClure before you set your own lineups for Saturday.

McClure is also a predictive data engineer at SportsLine who uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every minute of every game 10,000 times, taking factors like matchups, statistical trends and injuries into account. This allows him to find the best NBA DFS values and create optimal lineups that he shares only over at SportsLine. They’re a must-see for any NBA DFS player.

McClure is absolutely rolling through the 2018-19 NBA season, producing multiple optimal lineups that have led to huge returns for followers, including as much as 40x on FanDuel and 84x on DraftKings.

For Saturday’s slate, McClure is banking on Oklahoma City Thunder guard Dennis Schroder ($5,100 on FanDuel, $5,000 on DraftKings). Often overlooked because of Russell Westbrook, Schroder is a consistent contributor who can pile up points at a very affordable price. He’s seen at least 30 minutes on the floor in three of OKC’s last four games, and he’s had at least 12 attempts from the floor in every game during that span. With George ruled out, the Thunder will be looking for scoring from everywhere, so confidently lock in Schroder as a top NBA DFS value pick.

Another of the players that McClure is building his optimal NBA DFS strategy around on Saturday: Pelicans forward Cheick Diallo ($4,700 on FanDuel, $4,100 on DraftKings).

The third-year player has been earning a lot more opportunities in the last month and change, playing at least 15 minutes in 10 of the last 16 games. And he’s been making the most of those opportunities. Diallo has seven double-digit scoring performances and six games of at least eight rebounds in that span with 13 blocks in those 16 games. That includes double-doubles in two of his last four games, with 15 points and 11 rebounds in 21 minutes in a win over the Suns on Friday night. With Diallo getting opportunities and cashing in, you’ll want to do the same by getting him in your NBA DFS lineups on Saturday night.

McClure is also targeting a sleeper capable of putting up big numbers who has a dream matchup on Saturday. The stars are aligning for him to return 30, even 40 points on both sites, and he comes at a much lower price than you would expect. This pick could be the difference between winning your tournaments and cash games or going home with nothing.
