New decal renewal kiosk installed at Hixson Food City
HIXSON, Tenn. (WDEF) — Hamilton County residents now have a new option to renew their vehicle decal.
Hamilton County Clerk, Bill Knowles announced a new decal renewal kiosk has been installed in the Hixson Food City, located at 5604 Hixson Pike.
This new kiosk provides instant renewal access for Hamilton County registrants only.
“The Print-on-Demand Kiosk dispenses only renewal decals. It does not permit a change of address, dispense license plates, or process a renewal not within 90 days of the expiration date.”

Knowles goes onto say that the state requires those applications to be made in person at either of the county’s tag offices.
In order to process the renewal, a motorist will be required to scan their current registration receipt or their mailed state renewal postcard.
This kiosk will provide touch-screen instructions in either English or Spanish.
Motorists will be able to use a credit or debit card at the kiosk to process the payment.
“Our office is extremely appreciative of Food City for donating space, enabling us to provide an extra dimension of service to Hamilton County vehicle registrants, especially those residing in the northern part of the County. I’m also grateful to my professional staff, who have been crucial in helping me achieve this new service opportunity.”
