New Erlanger Primary Care opens up in Ooltewah

OOLTEWAH, Tenn. (WDEF) —  A new Erlanger Primary Care Location has opened up in Ooltewah.

This new Primary Care facility is located at 5953 Elementary Way, Suite 109.

The new location will provide full-spectrum care for adults.

Erlanger reported this facility will also house onsite lab services, EKG and X-ray capabilities, immunizations, health and wellness physical exams, and chronic condition diagnoses management.

Dr. James Newby is currently practicing at this location.

Newby is a Chattanooga native.

He attended Central High School and graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

After receiving his undergraduate from UTC, he continued his medical study at West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine.

Newby completed his family medicine residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine.

“I am happy to be a part of Erlanger’s efforts to address the need for more primary care in this rapidly growing area.  We look forward to helping people manage their chronic medical conditions and meet their healthcare goals.
