New Fall Creek Falls Lodge hiring workers at 2 events
The Lodge should open in early 2022
SPENCER, Tennessee (WDEF) – A popular state park on the Cumberland Plateau is getting a makeover.
Fall Creek Falls has been building a new lodge for visitors to the scenic waterfall above Pikeville.
Now it is close enough to completion that the state is beginning to hire workers for it.
The Lodge isn’t supposed to be open until early next year.
It will have 85 guest rooms overlooking Fall Creek Falls Lake, along with a restaurant.
They will host a job fair on two consecutive Fridays, Oct. 29 and Nov. 5.
The event will be at the lodge beginning each of those days at 9 a.m., and interviews will be 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
You can also submit an application online and do a virtual interview over the same period.
“We are excited about the opening soon of this beautiful lodge at Fall Creek Falls, and we will welcome those who want to be a part of it,” Jim Bryson, deputy commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC), said.
“Tennesseans are accustomed to having a top-notch staff at our facilities, and we expect the same at this one. We invite everyone who is interested to apply.”
Fall Creek Falls is one of the state’s largest and most visited parks.
The park includes 30 cabins, 222 campsites, golf course, and 56 miles of trails, along with the spectacular waterfall.
