New Food City coming to Ocoee, Cleveland
OCOEE, Tenn. (WDEF) — A groundbreaking took place on Thursday for two new Food City store locations in Polk and Bradley Counties. Those locations are in both Ocoee and Cleveland, Tennessee.
Company officials expect both locations to open early in 2024.
The Ocoee groundbreaking took place Thursday morning and the Cleveland one took place Thursday evening.
Cleveland’s new Food City will be replacing a Fresh and Low.
The new business at 116 Whitewater Drive in Ocoee will be more than 46,000 square foot.
This new Ocoee Food City will include a bakery, deli, hot and food bars, large café seating, fireplace, Asian wok, wood smoker, pizza oven and sushi. It will also include full-service meat and seafood departments. The company added that the grocery section will be larger than normal.
This Food City will offer a floral boutique, curbside pickup, home delivery, and regular and self checkouts. It will additionally include a pharmacy, gas station and a Starbucks.
