New information on Ooltewah High School rape case

Gatlinburg, TN (WDEF) – Sevier County Judge Dwight Stokes released three juvenile petitions Friday, detailing the rape of an Ooltewah High School basketball player.

The judge wouldn’t allow any pictures, video, or copying of the documents, but the media was allowed to take notes while the police were present.

According to the petitions, the suspects are a 17 year old and two 16-years-olds.

The documents says the 17-year-old is considered the ring leader in the assault; having actually committed the act of sodomizing the victim with the pool stick.

Court documents show the two 16-year-olds held the victim down.

All three teens are charged with aggravated rape.

Two of the suspects are being held in Sevier County without bond.

Officials say the crime took place in a cabin on Laurel Mountain Drive in Sevier County.

The documents also show the victim’s injuries were so extensive, he had to have surgery to repair his bladder, rectum, and prostate gland.

The judge has set a tentative hearing date of January 26th at 8:30 a.m.

Officials also said there is no gag order in place.
