New Year’s at Noon

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) Some local kids rang in the New Year’s early at the Creative Discovery Museum Wednesday.

The museum offered kids a chance to celebrate in a unique way with their New Year’s at Noon party.

They learned about the passage of time and had a countdown to the New Year with Father Time and Baby New Year at noon.

CDM Director of Education Jayne Griffin says "Part of our event is having Father Time, who represents 2014 of course, bring in Baby New Year 2015. So, it’s a real concrete way for children to visualize an abstract concept which is the passage of time."

They also had a confetti drop and toast with apple juice.
