Neighbors Mourn Loss of Soddy-Daisy Fire Victim

An elderly Soddy-Daisy man whose pajamas caught on fire yesterday has died. Ralph Grissom was trying to heat his apartment with his stove when he caught fire. It happened at the Vista Ridge Apartments near Card Road. WDEF News 12's Alisha Searl spoke to neighbors who are now mourning his loss.

Governor Haslam Proposes Two Free Years of Tuition

Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam wants to give each high school senior a break when it comes to college tuition. Under his new proposal, graduating seniors would be able to attend two years of community college or technology college free of tuition and fees.
