BSCO now think Skyla Wilson’s non-custodial father heading to Mexico

CLEVELAND, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Bradley County Sheriff’s Office continues the search for endangered two-year-old Skyla Lashay Wilson.

Investigators now have reason to believe her non-custodial father, Michael Steven Wilson, is traveling to the Mexican border.

Someone spotted Michael Steven Wilson’s last known vehicle heading towards the state of Texas.

The Bradley County Sheriff’s Office hopes the public can help find the 2014 KIA SOUL.

The last time it was seen was on August 5 in Louisiana.

It was reported to be seen traveling westbound on I-20 headed towards the state of Texas.

An endangered child alert was issued for Skyla Lashay on Monday.

Wilson was last seen on Sunday with her father.

The Bradley County Sheriff’s Office says Wilson picked the toddler up on her birthday last Thursday, but didn’t return his daughter home at the agreed upon time.

The two-year-old stands 2’4″ tall, weighing 24 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Her aunt Dana Stanesick made a plea on Monday. She said, “On behalf of the family, and myself, we just beg anybody for any information. Please come forward and get Skyla home safely, back to where she belongs.”
