North Willow Street fatal shooting

LATEST: Chattanooga Police responded to the 800 block of North Willow Street Tuesday night around 8:15 to reports of a person shot.

Police found a male victim had died from his injuries.

They say he had been shot multiple times.

The victim’s identity is not known at this time.

Earlier reports had different street names and/or other shooting locations, but police say this is the only incident.

Police continue to investigate what happened.

UPDATE: Chattanooga Police have identified the victim as a male.

Officials say there were lots of people around when they arrived to find the victim on the ground, but they’re asking for anyone with information to contact them at 423-698-2525.

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police confirm there has been 1 fatality in a shooting on Citico Avenue Tuesday night.

Police are on the scene investigating.
