Northwest Whitfield Enjoys Another Home Playoff Game

Tunnel Hill, GA-(WDEF-TV) Northwest Whitfield is back in the playoffs for the seventh year in-a-row, and they’ll be at home as they open the post-season against Fayette County.

If the Bruins can win on Friday, it’ll mark the first time in school history that they’ve claimed a playoff victory in back-to-back seasons.

Said head coach Josh Robinson:”You know we started out with a very disappointing loss. 1-2 overall. For us to come back from that just says a lot about our kids. About our coaching staff.”
Reporter:”How big of an advantage is it that you guys get to play here Friday?”
Said quarterback Owen Booker:”I think it’s big. They haven’t had to travel as far, which makes a difference. At the end of the day, I think once the lights come on it’s 11-on-11 and see who wins.”
