Notre Dame Agrees to Part Ways With Basketball Coach Matt Matoh

(press release) After two seasons, Head Boys Basketball Coach Matt Matoh and Notre Dame High School have mutually agreed to part ways following the conclusion of the 2025–2026 school year.
During his tenure, Coach Matoh led the boys basketball program to consecutive second-place finishes in the District 2 Basketball Tournament and compiled an overall record of 23–38.
“I want to thank Dr. Eric Schexnaildre, Brian Gill, Ronnie Bradford, and the rest of the administration at Notre Dame for the opportunity to lead the boys basketball program over the last two seasons,” said Matoh. “I wish the program and school nothing but the best moving forward.”
“We are extremely grateful for the dedication, passion and efforts that Coach Matoh poured into our boys program the last two years,” said Head of School Dr. Eric Schexnaildre.  “Matt is extremely knowledgeable of the game and will continue to be effective in his future as a coach and leader of men.  We wish him the very best in his future endeavors.”
Prior to his time at Notre Dame, Matoh served at the Baylor School, where he was an assistant coach for the varsity program and head middle school coach beginning in 2018. He also previously coached at Cedarville University in Ohio and served as a head coach with the Stars Basketball Club in Nashville.
Notre Dame High School has begun an immediate search for its next Head Boys Basketball Coach.
