Notre Dame comes back from down 13 against Central

New Central head coach Courtney Braswell has served as an assistant coach on just about every coaching staff in town.

So it really wasn’t a surprise tonight in Braswell’s head coaching debut that he wound up facing one of his former employers in Notre Dame.

Maybe Notre Dame still owes COACH BRASWELL money, He looks hot. This should cheer him up.

Central up 7 – 0 to start the 2nd.

This is D.J. BAXTER with the football, he scampers inside the 10. Then the Purple Pounders give it to MICHAEL McGHEE and he fights for the goal line. That’s a touchdown to make it 13 – 0.

Irish answer. They insert CAMERON WYNN at Quarterback. He scoots in for the touchdown. That makes it 13 – 7.

Later in the Quarter, JAHEIM JONES wants to pass, he’s in trouble, SCOOBY WILLIAMS with the strip, and JARED NELSON recovers for Notre Dame.

1st snap following the fumble, LANDON ALLEN the pass to ANDREW BANKS.
BANKS is about to make a whole lot of something… out of a whole lot of nothing. He’s pumping it down the sidelines. Ref says he’s down at the 2.

Next play, they give it AKIL SLEDGE for the touchdown. The PAT puts Notre Dame up 14 – 13.
