Number of power outages from storms on Friday

UPDATE:

Here are updated outages as of 1 p.m. on Friday.

EPB reported having 139 outages and more than 2,000 customers affected.

Sequachee Valley Electric had nine outages with 975 customers without power, up from 500 just an hour before.

Georgia Power outages decreased over the last hour. As of 1 p.m. they had 29 outages in Dade County. However, the number of customers without power tripled.

There were more than 3,000 people without power in Dade County at 1 p.m.

Volunteer Energy Cooperative reported more than 2,000 without power at 1 p.m. in Bradley County. Hamilton County had 630 outages and McMinn had 199. Meigs County had 78 outages, Bledsoe County had 50 outages and Polk County had 710.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — There have been a number of power outages reported Friday due to the severe weather, specifically the high winds.

Here are local power outages as of noon on Friday.

EPB reported that there were 127 outages in their service area, with more than 2,000 customers affected.

Sequachee Valley Electric reported eight outages with more than 500 customers without power. The majority of those outages are in Bledsoe County.

Georgia Power had 31 outages in Dade County, affecting more than 1,000 customers.

Volunteer Energy Cooperative reported several outages as well. As of noon, there were 244 outages in Bradley County, 624 in Hamilton County, 87 in McMinn County and 204 in Polk County.
