Ocoee opens after being closed for two days

According to TVA, the river was closed Thursday and Friday due to the high levels of water. 

Rafting companies were told to keep people out of the water because of the intensity of the rapids.

"The weather has been rough, but it looks clear for the rest of the weekend and it looks like we are going to have a great summer," said Jamie Silver, General Manager of Adventures Unlimited. 

The whitewater rafting company said the river closing for two days didn’t affect their Fourth of July turn out.
