Officer involved shooting in Hamilton County

Hamilton County, TN (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police are investigating a fatal shooting involving Hamilton County deputies.

District Attorney General Neal Pinkston asked them to investigate it.

Officials say the deputies chased a suspect from Old Lee Highway to Pine Mar Drive inside the city limits Wednesday night.

The suspect crashed at Pine Mar Drive and shots were fired.

The suspect died.
