Officers serving drug indictments find more drugs at Sand Mountain home
SECTION, Alabama (WDEF) – A Sand Mountain woman was indicted on charges of possession and burglary.
But her case got worse when officers served the papers.
Jackson County Lt. Craig Holcomb delivered the indictments to the home of Katherine Michelle Thrift on Highway 35 in Section, Alabama.
But he says he noticed drug paraphernalia and marijuana at the home when he arrived.
The Narcotics Unit got a new search warrant for the home.
They say they found Marijuana, Methamphetamine, Alprazolam, Dextroamphetamine plus a 2 foot pot plant growing at the home.
So Thrift was arrested on the old charges, and got a few new ones.
