GBI arrests man for October Rossville murder

UPDATE (Nov. 3):

ROSSVILLE, Ga. (WDEF) — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation said it has arrested a person for the death of a Rossville woman in October.

The Hamilton County Fugitive Squad arrested 48-year-old Christopher Bullock recently for probation violation. He is currently at the Hamilton County Jail, awaiting extradition to Walker County.

According to the GBI, Bullock faces charges including malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Online records show he was booked into the jail on October 31.

EARLIER (Oct. 6):

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has released information on a shooting that happened in Rossville, Georgia on Thursday.

Rossville Police and the GBI started investigating around 3 p.m. on October 5. Someone alerted police of a possible shooting at apartments on Park City Road in Rossville.

Authorities found 51-year-old Tammy Cropper deceased in her bedroom from a gunshot wound.

In addition, GBI said they found 48-year-old Christopher Bullock injured from a gunshot wound.

First responders took Bullock to the hospital in critical condition.
