One injured in Taylor Street shooting

Chattanooga police are investigating a shooting incident that has left a male juvenile injured.

It happened at around 9:40 last night in the 2900 block of Taylor Street.

Officials say police responded to calls of a person suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment by a private vehicle.

Authorities say they were told an unknown suspect drove by that area of Taylor Street and opened fire on a group of people standing outside.
