One man, two dogs die in Trion house fire
TRION, Ga. (WDEF) — A fire severely damaged a Trion house early Wednesday morning and killed one person.
The fire took burned a house on Kinzy Street at around 4:30 a.m. on January 10.
There were two people and three dogs trapped in the house due to the fire.
Firefighters removed the occupants within minutes of arrival.
However, the Trion Fire Department confirmed a man died at a hospital from his injuries sustained in the fire.
Two of the dogs died as well.
The fire department says a woman and the surviving dog are recovering now.
The investigation into the fire is ongoing.
