One person killed in wreck near Ringgold

UPDATE:

The Georgia State Patrol identifies the victim as 21 year old Damien Crum.

Investigators say he was driving the car that crossed the centerline and hit a Dodge Ram 2500 head on.

A 20 year old woman, a three year old boy and a six month old child were in the car with him.

A mother and son were in the pickup.

They say all five of the other people involved were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

RINGGOLD, Georgia (WDEF) – The Georgia State Patrol is investigating a deadly two vehicle crash this afternoon in Catoosa County.

It happened on Holcomb Road, not far from Highway 151 south of Ringgold.

Witnesses say it was a head-on collision.

Officials confirm one person was killed and several others were injured.
