One teen shot after conversation turns into a struggle
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – On Saturday at 3:06 p.m., the Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) responded to a person shot in the 3900 block of Rogers Road.
According to CPD, when arriving, officers found a 17-year-old male victim with non-fatal gunshot wounds.
He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
After CPD Homicide and Crime Scene investigated the scene, it was determined the shooting took place in the 3900 block of Camellia Drive.
CPD says the investigation shows the victim and shooter were in a conversation that turned into a brief physical struggle before the shooting.
The shooter fled on foot and remains unidentified.
They have not been located.
