Ooltewah Facility Fire Prompts Evacuations and Relocations
OOLTEWAH, Tenn. — A facility fire in Ooltewah on December 21 prompted a response from the Highway 58 Volunteer Fire Department (VFD) and caused temporary relocations.
Highway 58 VFD responded to an automatic commercial fire alarm at a 24/7 care facility in Ooltewah.
An electrical fire originated in the facility’s restroom, according to the Highway 58 VFD.
The fire was extinguished by the sprinkler system.
They say occupants were evacuated and temporarily relocated.
