One deputy said they tried to stop the four-wheeler on Highway 58, near Clark Road. But Eason refused to stop, according to deputies.

Authorities continued to pursue the ATV, which they say also crossed oncoming traffic and drove in the wrong direction.

Once Eason attempted to turn onto Congress Lane, the sheriff’s office said a deputy finally stopped him.

The sheriff’s office said Eason then refused to get off the four-wheeler. Deputies tased him twice and took him into custody.

Hamilton County authorities charged Eason with reckless driving, resisting arrest, driving an unauthorized vehicle on a highway, helmet law and felony evading.
