Ooltewah shooting leaves two in critical condition
UPDATE: Ooltewah-Georgetown Road has reopened.
OOLTEWAH, Tenn. (WDEF) — Two women are in critical condition after being shot in Ooltewah on Monday, according to police.
Hamilton County Sheriff Austin Garrett said the suspect is not in custody at this time. Police are still searching for the suspect.
The shooting occurred at 6405 Ooltewah-Georgetown Road. The location is close to I-75 and near the Ooltewah Adventist School.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Hamilton County police.
Consequently, Ooltewah-Georgetown Road will be shut down for several hours.
This incident is still being investigated.
