Orange Grove Center clients get new kicks thanks to Front Runner Athletics

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Shoe and apparel store Front Runner Athletics recently measured and fitted seven hard-working Orange Grove individuals employed at the recycling convenience center location at North Access
Road.

Store owner Chad Varga works frequently with individuals from Orange Grove at his store, as he and his staff work to meet their sometimes unique and challenging footwear needs.

The North Access Road convenience center is run by the City of Chattanooga as a drop-off site for
recyclable materials.

It’s one of six such centers staffed by individuals from Orange Grove, where they help community members sort and deposit recyclables.

Knowing that fit and quality are critical to foot health, and noticing that several of the individuals at the convenience center had very worn shoes, Varga arranged to fit, measure, and provide new shoes to each of the workers there.
