Police arrest suspect in Ridgedale shooting

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police have made an arrest in a weekend shooting in Ridgedale.

It happened Sunday night around 9:30 in the 1200 block of Peachtree Street behind Franklin Funeral Home.

Officers arrived to find 49 year old Guss McKinney suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was taken to the hospital.

Investigators say he was involved in a dispute with 61 year old Mark Jackson.

They tracked down Jackson and charged him with Aggravated Assault, Felony Reckless Endangerment, Possession of a Firearm during Commission of a Felony.
