Pedestrian hit by train
UPDATE: Chattanooga Police now say only one person was actually hit by a train and has passed away.
Police say the victim 31-year-old Justin McCary pushed a juvenile female out of the way as the train came around a bend.
He was hit by the CSX train.
He died from his injuries at the scene.
The 10-year-old girl is in the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police are investigating how two people were hit by a CSX train Thursday.
It happened at 900 North Sanctuary Road at Audubon Acres.
The victims were taken to the hospital.
