Pedestrian killed after being struck twice in hit and run identified
UPDATE: According to the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office, the victim has been identified as 68-year-old Bradley County resident Gina M. Lucht.
UPDATE: The driver and the vehicle believed to be involved in the initial hit and run, have been located, according to the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office.
They say due to the investigation remaining ongoing, no names will be released at this time.
BRADLEY COUNTY — The Bradley County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) is says they are investigating a fatal hit and run that occurred in the 6000 block of Highway 64 around 6:30 a.m. on March 11.
They say preliminary information indicates that a pedestrian was initially struck by an unknown black vehicle that may have sustained significant front-end damage and the vehicle left the scene following the initial collision.
