Pedestrian killed after being hit by a car in Dalton

DALTON, Ga. (WDEF)- A pedestrian was killed last night in Dalton.

According to police, the victim was trying to cross Glenwood Avenue at Tyler Street when he was hit by a Ford Explorer.

He died on the scene.

The driver of the Ford Explorer has not been charged.

Police say that they are investigating the incident and charges are still possible.
