PEF Grants Announced At 2 Local Schools

Two local schools have some new, high tech tools to help educate their students.
The Public Education Foundation announced East Lake Elementary and Bess T. Shepherd school each received a 50-thousand dollar grant.
The money comes from the Leonore Annenberg School Fund for Children.
It helped to buy hundreds of Chromebooks for students.
They will be used to help kids learn, and for some local leadership programs.
On Monday’s edition of "What’s Right With Our Schools," we’ll head to Bess T. Shepherd Elementary to show you how the school will use these new Chromebooks.
