Person approached by a man with a gun near East Lake Park’s Duck Pond
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- Chattanooga Police were notified of a delayed shooting by a local hospital Saturday night.
The victim was near the East Lake Park (Duck Pond) when he said he was approached by a person with a gun.
The victim attempted to knock the gun away from the suspect and was shot as a result.
Police were told the victim had sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot injury.
Police continue to investigate the incident that occurred at 3000 E. 34th Street.
