Person shot

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF)- Chattanooga Police say a person arrived at a local hospital suffering from a gunshot wound.

It happened in the 1700 block of Walker Avenue just after 10 pm Friday. 

The victim, 51-year-old Mark Parker, stated he was approached by a black male who pulled a firearm and shot him. 

Parker sustained non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators are following up on potential suspect leads at this time. 

Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this crime to call 423-698-2525. The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
