Meet News 12’s pet of the week, Chester!

Chester is a young pittie mix with a big heart.

The Humane Educational Society (HES) says he’s as sweet as they come and he’s always ready for the best day of his life.

Chester is a pro at having fun, he loves hikes, playtime, tug toys and ball.

He also loves to go on a good hike.

Chester will play fetch with Frisbees, and will let you know when he’s ready to play by bringing his toys over to you.

He also loves to play with other dogs.

The HES says he’s a great mix of active and engaging as well as independent and relaxed.

He’s snuggly and sweet, but not overly clingy.

Chester would love a home that can provide him with plenty of enrichment and structure.

The home should not have cats or young children, older kids/teenagers and other dogs would be good.
