Pet of the Week: Lola!

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Join us at Prime News at 7 for this week’s Pet of the Week: Lola!

Lola is a beautiful and elegant 10-month-old mixed breed hound/terrier with the most loving and sweet temperament!

While she can be a little shy with strangers, Lola bonds quickly and absolutely adores being with “her person.”

She wants to be as close as possible, as much as possible, and loves to lean into you or rest her head on you while you chill on the sofa. As much as she loves to snuggle and relax, Lola is still in her late-puppy stage, and needs plenty of exercise and enrichment to keep her happy.

Daily walks and play time in the yard are great for her, and she enjoys being around other dogs even though she’s not always the most engaged playmate (dogs who like to rough-house are a little too much for her, but dogs who like to run and chase are her best buds).

Because she has some anxiety when she is alone, she should be crated when her owners aren’t at home, and would thrive most if she doesn’t have to stay at home for long periods by herself.

She would make a wonderful companion for anyone who loves to hike or run, and she would likely do well with older kids as well.
