Planners Approve Hillocks Farms Development in Hixson

Hamilton County planners give approval to a Hixson development that’s been at the center of controversy for over a year.

Hillocks Farms, formerly known as Chattanooga Village, would feature 190 acres of apartments, retail, and office space on a hilltop area off of Highway 153 and Boy Scout road.

Residents would have a 100-foot land buffer between their homes and the project, double the space of the old plan.

The project now heads to Chattanooga’s City Council for review.
