Police Approached by Gunshot Victim

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – Late Friday evening, Chattanooga Police were approached by Quintarius A. Mitchell, 27, at the 700 block of Central Avenue. This individual advised officers he had been shot on Brainerd Road and drove from the scene. Suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, first aid treatment was initiated, where the victim was eventually transported to a local hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

There is no suspect information at this time and the Chattanooga Police Violent Crimes Investigators are asking anyone with information regarding this crime to call 423-698-2525. The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
