Police arrest suspect in East Brainerd Apartment shooting

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police have arrested a suspect in an apartment shooting on East Brainerd Road.

Deadrian Jarrett was shot in the leg during an argument on Wednesday night.

On Friday, they charged 48 year old Deutrich James for the shooting.

He has been charged with Attempted Criminal Homicide, Aggravated Assault, and Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony.
