Police arrest suspect in Southside shooting
CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police have arrested a suspect in a shooting last night on the Southside.
A 15 year old male was shot after 6PM on Chestnut Street near Finley Stadium.
Police describe the gunshot wound as non-life threatening.
They say the victim was walking across a parking lot when he was shot.
A patrol officer had detained a possible suspect.
They have charged 19 year old Jaen Perkins with Attempted First Degree Murder, Aggravated Assault, Reckless Endangerment and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony.
