Police arrest woman for East Lake shooting

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police have charged a suspect in one of the shootings Tuesday night.

They were called to a disorder in the 3900 block of 6th Avenue after 7PM.

But officers quickly learned the fight was over a shooting a few blocks away on East 34th Street.

They went to that scene and found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim is in critical condition.

They charged 57 year old Carolyn Ross with the shooting.
