Police arrested the man with the butcher knife at Waffle House
FORT PAYNE, Alabama (WDEF) – Fort Payne police charged a man after a disturbance at the Waffle House at 3 AM.
Restaurant management says that he was acting erratically, including jumping over the counter and grabbing the cook’s butcher knife.
Officers talked him out of the restaurant without further incident.
The suspect is 36 year old Oscar Lee Jones, Jr. from Fort Payne.
He has been charged with Disorderly Conduct, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana 2nd, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Methamphetamine.
No one was injured during the disturbance.
