Police Charge 13 in Prostitution Roundup

     Chattanooga police conducted a couple of prostitution stings this week.

     The first one focused on prostitution primarily in the Oak Grove community.

     They charged four people with prostitution and two others with gambling.

     The suspects are:

·         Freddie Hodges b/m 56 YOA:       Gambling, Gambling device

·         William Beamon b/m 47 YOA:     Gambling, Gambling device

·         Deborah Raines w/f 43 YOA:        Prostitution

·         Wendy Smith w/f 37 YOA:            Prostitution

·         Shannon Speck w/f 34 YOA:          Prostitution

·         Marion Heard b/f 43 YOA:           Prostitution

     The next day the officers focused on solicitation on a couple of blocks on Wautauga and Willow streets.

     They charged five men with patronizing a prostitute.
