Police charge suspects in string of local business burglaries

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – The Chattanooga Police Department’s Property Crimes Unit charge two suspects in a string of burglaries in Brainerd and East Ridge.

The burglaries happened from January through last week.

Most of the businesses were on Brainerd Road, Rossville Boulevard and East 23rd Street.

The suspects forced their way into the businesses after they were closed and took money from the registers.

23 year old Aaron Ward and 23 year old Christopher Goode face charges of Vandalism, Theft of Property and Burglary of Business.

Investigators are still looking into more burglaries to see if they connect with Ward and Goode.
