Police investigate early morning Hixson shooting

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police are investigating a shooting in the early morning hours in Hixson.

An officer found the victim at a gas station at 4849 Hixson Pike around 3:25 AM.

That’s a few blocks south of Highway 153 and Northgate.

The victim was suffering from a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police need your help in determining what happened.

They are wanting to hear from anyone who may have heard or scene suspicious behavior in the area.
