Police investigating after gunshot victim shows up at hospital

Chattanooga, Tenn. (WDEF) — Chattanooga police are investigating a shooting, after the victim shows up at a local hospital.

Officers responded a local hospital shortly after five this evening.

Police say 20-year-old Kendric Evans showed up with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

They determined the shooting took place in the 1800 block of South Lyerly Street.

Investigators say Evans wouldn’t tell them who shot him, or how he got to the hospital.
